40" – Loose Fit Nehru Style Gilet in Denim Blue Herringbone Lambswool Tweed

A Classic Cut waistcoat in a wonderful mid-weight finely woven Yorkshire lambswool tweed in size 40. This is a magical mid-to-warmer weight lambswool tweed with a herringbone patterning. Giving the overall effect of a delightful denim from a distance, it  brightens up on closer inspection as the depths and vivid colours of its patterning are revealed.
 
Smart, elegant and urbane – but as easy to match with jeans as it is to wear more formally.

This waistcoat is lined in Striped Cotton Ticking, has a Nehru Collar and Blue Corozo Buttons.

Cut & Usage

A superb alternative to a jacket or jumper in winter with a comfortable cut and ample pocket space. Warm and easy to wear, it will work well in both the city and the Country. 

This relaxed cut has a five button-front and side vents for ease when moving and sitting. Fully lined, it has generous inside facings to avoid unsightly lining slippage.

At the chest a welted outbreast pocket sits at a gentle angle to the armhole. Two generously deep pockets sit squarely at the hip. Inside our waistcoats, an inbreast pocket rests on the right-hand side and a credit card sized pocket at elbow height on the left.
