40" Nehru-Style Slim Cut Summer Weight Gilet in Blue Silk Weave

A Tailored Cut waistcoat in a vivid sky blue pure Silk Matka in size 40". This wonderful sky blue will stand out elegantly, making for a hugely versatile summer or evening weight waistcoat.

Silk Matka is a wonderful lightweight pure silk fabric that beats linen hands down when it comes to creasing.

The waistcoat is lined in pure Cotton Ticking, has Navy Corozo Buttons and a Nehru Collar.

Cut & Usage

A superb alternative to a jacket in spring and summer with a neat cut and ample pocket space.

This fitted cut has five button-fronts and side vents for ease when moving and sitting. Fully lined, it has  generous inside facings to avoid unsightly lining slippage.

At the chest a welted outbreast pocket sits at a gentle angle to the armhole. Two generously deep pockets sit squarely at the hip. Inside our waistcoats, an inbreast pocket rests on the right-hand side and a credit card sized pocket at elbow height on the left.

Silk Matka is a wonderful lightweight pure silk fabric that beats linen hands down when it comes to creasing. Silk Matka is made in India and is the sole exception to our sourcing British. We source our Matka from Stockport.
