38" Nehru-Style Loose Cut Gilet in Brown Summerweight Silk

A Classic Cut waistcoat in Chocolate Bark Silk Matka in size 38". A distinguished deep chocolate brown, this will work easily through spring and summer.

Silk Matka is a wonderful lightweight pure silk fabric that beats linen hands down when it comes to creasing.

This waistcoat has a Nehru collar, a Cotton Ticking lining and Brown Corozo Buttons.

Cut & Usage

A superb alternative to a jacket in spring and summer with a neat cut and ample pocket space.

This classic cut waistcoat has a relaxed fit, with a five buttoned-front and side vents for ease when moving and sitting. Fully lined, it has  generous inside facings to avoid unsightly lining slippage.

At the chest a welted outbreast pocket sits at a gentle angle to the armhole. Two generously deep pockets sit squarely at the hip. Inside our waistcoats, an inbreast pocket rests on the right-hand side and a credit card sized pocket at elbow height on the left.

Silk Matka is made in India and is the sole exception to our sourcing British. We source our Matka from Stockport.
