38 – Slim Fit Nehru-Style Gilet in Denim Blue Herringbone Lambswool Tweed

A Tailored Cut waistcoat in a wonderful mid-weight finely woven Yorkshire lambswool tweed in Size 38". This is a magical mid-to-warmer weight lambswool tweed with a herringbone patterning. Giving the overall effect of a delightful denim from a distance, it  brightens up on closer inspection as the depths and vivid colours of its patterning are revealed.

This waistcoat has a Nehru Collar, Blue Corozo buttons and is lined in Dark Navy Silk

Cut & Usage

A superb alternative to a jacket or jumper in winter – especially on those cooler days. Warm and superbly smart, this gilet will work well in both town and country and has ample pocket space.

This fitted cut has a neat five button-front, tapered darts at the rear and side vents for ease when moving and sitting. Fully lined, it has generous inside facings to avoid unsightly lining slippage.

At the chest a welted outbreast pocket sits at a gentle angle to the armhole. Two generously deep pockets sit squarely at the hip. Inside our waistcoats, an inbreast pocket rests on the right-hand side and a credit card sized pocket at elbow height on the left.
