40" – Slim Fit Nehru-Style Gilet in Small Brown Check Lovat Tweed

A Tailored Cut waistcoat in a wonderful warm-weight tweed in size 40" A subtle small check patterning in shades of camel and brown that will easily co-ordinate.

This waistcoat has a Nehru Colllar, a Striped Cotton Ticking Lining and Brown Corozo Buttons.

Cut & Usage

A  wonderfully warm and smart alternative to a jacket for autumn winter with a neat cut and ample pocket space.

This fitted cut waistcoat has five button-fronts and side vents for ease when moving and sitting. Fully lined, it has generous inside facings to avoid unsightly lining slippage.

At the chest a welted outbreast pocket sits at a gentle angle to the armhole. Two generously deep pockets sit squarely at the hip. Inside our waistcoats, an inbreast pocket rests on the right-hand side and a credit card sized pocket at elbow height on the left.

Woven with care in the home of tweed by Lovat. Lovat Mill sits on the bank of the river Teviot in Hawick just a few metres away from the origins of tweed itself – so we could hardly offer tweed without them!
