42" Nehru-Style Slim Cut Gilet in Red Linen

A Tailored Cut waistcoat with a Nehru collar in a wonderfully weighty pure linen in a superb deep red in a size 42."  The colour will make a splash wherever you go.

Lined in a Cotton Ticking with Ridged Horn buttons.

Cut & Usage

A superb alternative to a jacket in spring and summer with a neat cut and ample pocket space.

This fitted cut waistcoat has five button-fronts and side vents for ease when moving and sitting. Fully lined, it has  generous inside facings to avoid unsightly lining slippage.

At the chest a welted outbreast pocket sits at a gentle angle to the armhole. Two generously deep pockets sit squarely at the hip. Inside our waistcoats, an inbreast pocket rests on the right-hand side and a credit card sized pocket at elbow height on the left.

This Irish linen is woven by Baird McNutt. The Baird McNutt Studio, where their Irish linen collections are designed, lies on the picturesque north west Irish coast of Donegal, overlooking Sheephaven Bay on the Atlantic Ocean.
