A Classic Cut waistcoat in a Pure Cotton Velvet in a hugely elegant black. Simple and smart. Delightfully soft to the touch, this velvet has a mid-weight structure. 

This outer is available to order in sizes 36-54", with any of our collar types.

Cut & Usage

A superb alternative to a jacket or jumper for smarter evenings. This gilet has  a slim, tailored cut and ample pocket space. Warm and easy to wear, it will work as well inside as outside.

This loose-fit cut has a five button-front and side vents for ease when moving and sitting. Fully lined, it has generous inside facings to avoid unsightly lining slippage.

At the chest a welted outbreast pocket sits at a gentle angle to the armhole. Two generously deep pockets sit squarely at the hip. Inside our waistcoats, an inbreast pocket rests on the right-hand side and a credit card sized pocket at elbow height on the left.

Customising your Waistcoat

We line this waistcoat in Cotton Ticking which lends additional structure to the outer. If you prefer a Viscose or Silk, you are free to select an alternative from our linings page. A viscose lining will add £10 to the listed price, a silk lining will add £30.

Outside we suggest a Black Corozo button, but you are free to choose a different button from our full selection.

Custom lining, sizing and button choices should be sent to us by email at the time of placing your order.

Should any additional charges arise from size and length alterations, we will advise you of these and wait for your agreement before commencing your order.
