42" Slim Cut Nehru Style Gilet  in Small Blue Lovat Check Tweed

A Tailored Cut waistcoat in Small Blue Check Lovat Tweed in Size 42". This is a warm-weight tweed from Lovat Mill. An unusual and subtle small check patterning involves a hint of what is an almost turquoise blue, along with green, dark hay and black. A surprising, sophisticated mix.

This is a Tailored Cut Waistcoat with a Nehru Collar, a Ticking lining and a Blue Corozo button.

Cut & Usage

A  wonderfully warm and smart alternative to a jacket for autumn winter with a neat cut and ample pocket space.

This fitted cut waistcoat has five button-fronts and side vents for ease when moving and sitting. Fully lined, it has generous inside facings to avoid unsightly lining slippage.

At the chest a welted outbreast pocket sits at a gentle angle to the armhole. Two generously deep pockets sit squarely at the hip. Inside our waistcoats, an inbreast pocket rests on the right-hand side and a credit card sized pocket at elbow height on the left.

Woven with care in the home of tweed by Lovat. Lovat Mill sits on the bank of the river Teviot in Hawick just a few metres away from the origins of tweed itself – so we could hardly offer tweed without them!

Shipment

We aim to ship on a next-day basis using the Royal Mail. We use the Royal Mail Tracked 24 Service with Signature.

Should you need your waistcoat more urgently, you can choose the Royal Mail's Guaranteed Delivery by 1pm service, which we charge for at cost.
